At the end of March, Lloyd Pye sent out a proposed back cover for "THE STARCHILD SKULL -- Genetic Enigma or ... Human-Alien Hybrid?" Many of those who received this email replied with valuable and insightful suggestions about how to improve it. These suggestions were used to create a new back cover, which was then reviewed by experienced editors and publishers and further polished. This is the result. Please bear in mind that there is very limited space on an back cover. The test shown below totally fills the space available on this page.
Scroll down to see the brilliant new cover artwork by Daniel Huenergardt. Special thanks also must go to Rob Roy Menzies, a very talented artist and graphic artist who created our first cover, and whose renditions of the Starchild are still featured prominently on the Starchild website (www.starchildproject.com) and in the book.
What on Earth is the Starchild skull?
Is it even from Earth?
“In forty years of practice as a reconstructive plastic surgeon, I have never seen anything like it. I doubt if anyone else has, either.”
Dr. Ted Robinson, Vancouver, B.C.
Feb. 1999. Writer/researcher Lloyd Pye holds the Starchild skull for the first time and feels its astonishingly light weight. He then gazes at its bizarre shape complemented by stunning symmetry, and is compelled to try to discover the truth about its genetic heritage.
All scientists, he learns, will readily ask the question: Are humans alone in the universe? But he also discovers that few scientists are willing to risk their careers to try to actually answer that loaded question. So begins an eight-year battle of wits and wills between an intrepid researcher and the entire weight of scientific orthodoxy.
The Starchild Skull chronicles Lloyd Pye’s dogged battle against skepticism and ridicule. One by one, facts pile up. The skull’s bone contains durable fibers and red residue, unlike anything seen in any other bone on Earth. Finally, the results of DNA testing strongly suggest the Starchild could well have been a human-alien hybrid.
Is history soon to be made? There is only one way to find out. . . .
